With AIRMATIC suspension (Code 489) or sports suspension (Code 486) or Sports package (Code 952/950) no modifications required; from facelift 43.2 cm (17 inch) and 45.7 cm (18 inch) tyres are also approved and certified for models with Code 954 (AVANTGARDE) without modifications (buffer stop at FA). Exception: the combination of Code 954 (AVANTGARDE) and Code 485 (comfort suspension). Here buffer stop modification at FA as per basic suspension is required. Not for E 55 AMG.
