With AIRMATIC suspension (Code 489) or sports suspension (Code 486) or Sports package (Code 952/950) no modifications required, from facelift 43.2 cm (17 inch) and 45.7 cm (18 inch) tyres are also approved and certified for models with Code 954 (AVANTGARDE) without modifications (buffer stop at FA). Exception: the combination of Code 954 (AVANTGARDE) and Code 485 (comfort suspension). Here buffer stop modification at FA as per basic suspension is required. Not for E 55 AMG.
